Eman joined Newton Legal in 2020. Since then, Eman has worked on a number of projects advising public entities such as the Council for Regulating the Practice of the Engineering Profession and the Real Estate Regulation Authority, in addition to several financial institutions and leading companies such as the Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), Eskan Bank and the Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO). Eman’s main practice area is litigation with a focus on commercial disputes. She is also a member of the team that advises clients on incorporating companies in Bahrain.
Her experience includes advising on the incorporation of a plant in Bahrain of a foreign manufacturer with an initial investment of $14.5 million, advising a national company on its commercial dispute with a CBB licensed entity related to the breach of a marketing services agreement with an amount in controversy in excess of BHD 475,000, and advising a Bahraini company on several related disputes in connection with the common ownership of high value real estate.
Eman obtained her Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Bahrain.
