Nadia AlJaber

Nadia is a member of the corporate team and works closely with regional and international financial institutions and leading national companies. She advises on Bahraini law, corporate governance, corporate law and data protection law. Nadia also advises on strategy from a legal perspective, which often involves aligning a company’s regulatory compliance with its strategic commercial objectives.

Nadia first joined Newton Legal in 2016 and rejoined in 2024 as Senior Associate. She was promoted to Counsel in 2026. Previously, Nadia held the position of Associate Vice President – Legal at Investcorp. She was previously seconded into the litigation and compliance department of Al Jazeera Media Network in Doha, Qatar.

Experience

• Advised Ghitha, a portfolio company of Mumtalakat, on its acquisition of a minority stake in Amalfi Foods.
• Appointed as a member of the tender evaluation committee in a temporary committee commissioned by the Ministry of Works.
• Advised a group of creditors on the US$ 1,000,000,000 cross-border restructuring of JBF Rak.
• Advised on the delisting and conversion of Investcorp to a closed Bahrain Shareholding Company. *
• Assisted with the initial public offering of Investcorp Capital on the ADX. *
