Hamza has been seconded on a full-time basis since 2016 to the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. In this role, he advises on matters submitted to the Committee in its capacity as the legal arm of the Council of Ministers, including legislative proposals and proposals with desire submitted by the legislative authority, as well as draft laws, resolutions, requests for legal opinions, and international and domestic legal instruments referred by ministries and government entities.
Hamza joined Newton Legal as an intern in 2015, where he completed his training at the Bahrain Economic Development Board. He subsequently became an Associate and was seconded to the Committee. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2024.
