Arafat Abdulla

Arafat is part of Newton Legal’s litigation team, having joined the firm in August 2026. Prior to joining the firm, he gained approximately four years of legal experience in Bahrain in addition to training with the National Institution for Human Rights. During this time, he worked on a range of civil and labour disputes, as well as complex execution matters involving real estate and other assets. His experience includes handling high-value debt recovery matters for financial institutions and individuals, as well as execution proceedings involving the attachment and judicial sale of real estate and other assets.

Experience

• Assisted in enforcement proceedings on behalf of a GCC bank involving the attachment of a resort in Bahrain valued at over BHD 17 million. *
• Assisted in enforcement proceedings on behalf of a leading GCC bank in connection with a real estate loan, involving the attachment and judicial sale by auction of 10 properties and resulting in the recovery of over BHD 3 million. *
• Assisted in enforcement proceedings on behalf of an individual client involving the attachment and judicial sale by auction of a property, resulting in the recovery of over BHD 300,000. *
