Newton Legal Advises Masar Group on Joint Venture

Newton Legal was engaged as lead counsel to advise Masar Group, a subsidiary of the Bahrain sovereign wealth fund, on a joint venture with The Captain’s Club, which was looking to expand to Bahrain through the proposed joint venture.

The project offers marine enthusiasts the option to rent boats out, cutting the heavy cost of ownership, as well as specialized training to ensure safe and enjoyable experiences at sea.

The team, led by Nadia Al Jaber and Samar Al Mahmood, advised on the terms of the transaction documents and negotiations with the counterparty.
